Camouflage / 2016
Since relocating to rural central Pennsylvania from having lived in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, I now find myself surrounded by camouflage —donned by hunters and non-hunters alike as fashion; colored green for the boys and pink for the girls; and, decorated on all kinds of objects, from a spatula to an entire family minivan. So how do I wear my camouflage? In this series of photographs, I created my camouflage as a queer man, an immigrant, and a Vietnamese-American.
