Queer Space is a series of photographs which examine the evolving queer identity in a social landscape where same-sex marriage is increasingly part of the American vernacular.  I am especially interested in the debate surrounding same-sex marriage amongst self-identified queer individuals as to whether same-sex marriage reinforces heteronormative power relationships.  These photographs use queer as a verb, making these photographs set in a domestic, suburban landscapes both newly strange and oddly familiar.
